Solid and Durable
KITCHENS AND MORE NW utilizes all ¾” cabinet parts. This makes for an extremely solid and durable cabinet, and is an important distinction from other cabinet companies who use 3/8” or ½” parts. Our cabinets also have fully integrated backs in them for superior strength and durability.
All drawer boxes are 5/8” box construction. Our standard drawer is all white melamine interior with an all white melamine drawer box. Due to the construction system we use, we are able to guarantee our drawer boxes for life against normal wear and tear. All lines of cabinetry come with quality undermount drawer guides, your choice of melamine or hardwood drawer boxes and fully concealed door hinges. The popular “Soft Close” options are always available.
Strongest Joints Possible
At KITCHENS AND MORE NW , we use TenonCam* CNC Manufacturing system. This is a superior construction method that produces a cabinet consisting of all mortise and tenon joints, which provide for maximum glue surface area.
It makes for the strongest joint possible and the squarest cabinet in the industry. The system includes the TenonCam software and works with unique patented router bits. This enables us to increase production, lower manufacturing costs and improve the quality of your product, all at the same time.
Green and Sustainable
KITCHENS AND MORE NW participates in green and sustainable cabinet manufacturing. We are able to build our exceptional quality custom cabinets to meet CARB (California Air Regulatory Board) standards. Every sheet good item we use in our cabinet production is either ULEF (Ultra Low Emission Formaldehyde) or NAF (No Added Formaldehyde), which are composite wood products for chemically sensitive individuals. All Beech lumber used by KITCHENS AND MORE NW is 100% certified PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification), which holds to a higher standard than FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). And finally, many of our sheet good items are EPP (Environmentally Preferable Product) certified, meaning that it is CARB plus 100% recycled wood content (certificate on site).
Innovative Finishes
We pre-finish our cabinets in our own environmentally contained spray booth. Choose from a standard color palate or upgrade to a custom color of your choice. Our innovative finishes include glazing, antiquing, distressing or our newest look, burnishing. Or go with the clear, clean look of natural wood.
